Podcasting FAQ's
Podcasting is basically "Tivo" for audio or video content. In a nutshell, it is a method of receiving fresh audio content from web sites. Users install a podcast program on their local computer and then subscribe to 'feeds' found at web sites offering audio content.
The podcast program checks the feeds on a regular basis for new content, and when new content is made available it is downloaded to the user's computer automatically. For example, a user who subscribes to the LightHouse podcast feeds will automatically receive our sermons, teachings, etc. delivered to their computer whenever we post new audio content.
Ok, that was a decent explanation, but where can I find more info?
