There are nearly one half million Deaf people in the Phoenix area!
The deaf ministry is designed to help meet the spiritual needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals who wish to participate in the many programs and services offered at LightHouse Church. Sign language interpreting is provided for our second Sunday morning service at 10:30am and Sunday evening service at 6:00pm.
Mission
As part of our mission to communicate the wonderful news of Jesus Christ to our local community, LightHouse has developed an outreach ministry to serve some of the spiritual needs of the Deaf community.
Understanding that the spiritual needs of the Deaf community, as with any particular group, are numerous and varied, the Deaf Ministry of LightHouse has a twofold objective.
We will provide spiritual ministry to the Deaf through:
- Signed interpretation of church services and other events.
- Integration of the Deaf community into areas of service within the church.
