We believe kids in grades K-5 begin to develop spiritually in the following ways:
- They are capable of understanding that God is a person.
- They can understand Bible stories, verses, and concepts.
- They want to respond to God and Jesus.
- They are capable of experiencing feelings of awe and wonder in relationship to God.
- They want straightforward answers.
- They are interested in future, death, and heaven.
- They have a simple trust in God, and can think of Him in a personal way.
- They can recognize right and wrong.
- They ask many questions.
- Prayer needs to become a natural part of their daily life.
- They need to feel God’s love; need to feel important to God.
- They are able to realize God’s love and forgiveness.
- They enjoy church and church activities.
- They may be ready to accept Christ.
Xtremekidz is a power packed church service just for kids in Kindergartent through 5th Grade! We get together every Sunday morning for a time of exciting ministry including praise and worship, teaching videos, object lessons, games, Bible stories, and prayer. The kids' have fun while learning the truths about God's Word. Our prayer times are geared to help children understand they can have a relationship with their Heavenly Father and that prayer works!
