It's hard to imagine, but in many churches today people say it's difficult to meet other people and build relationships that matter.
We value community at LightHouse Church. We place a high value on small groups because we believe that no one should sail through our turbulent culture alone. The Christian life is to be lived in community with other followers of Christ.
They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42 (NIV)
Synergy small groups at LightHouse are an intimate, versatile environment for spiritual growth and encouragement. Every believer has both mountaintop and valley experiences on their spiritual journey. Small groups are the primary means of developing deep connections with others on the same journey. Simply put, small groups are about doing life together. We need each other!
Synergy Groups are comprised of adults and are built to provide a safe, fun, non-threatening and authentic relational dynamic.
- They are more than "just" a Bible study, but they do provide an opportunity to study God's Word.
- They are more than a prayer group, but they provide a "bridge line" to the throne room.
- They are more than a fellowship time or social hour, but they can serve as the foundation for deep and truly life-changing relationships.
