CONNECTION GROUPS
At LightHouse if you aren't a member of a small group you miss out on some of the best that we have! We offer a variety of groups, called Synergy Groups, that meet regularly - quite possibly right in your neighborhood.
Not sure which group to join? Our goal is to help you find a group best suited for you! If you would like help finding a good fit, click here and complete the "participant" form and we will contact you with several choices.
All of our small groups are made up of four to twelve individuals and are led by people just like you. They meet periodically in homes on Sunday evenings.

VOLUNTEER TEAMS
We believe that first impressions can make a huge impact and our volunteer teams are made up of individuals who love creating welcoming environments for every guest at LightHouse. From directing you to a parking space to selling you the newest sermon CD, our teams strive to get your attention and set the stage for what’s coming.
Our volunteer teams provide an avenue for you to explore your spiritual gifts and an opportunity to become involved in our "family." There is nothing that compares to the thrill of serving and investing in Kingdom purposes.
You may never see the men and women serving on our prayer teams, but they play a huge role in everything we do and stand for.
The Children's ministry teams exist to unveil God’s love to children and their families. From rocking infants to helping families check their children in, they create environments for kids to learn about Jesus and have fun at the same time. Our Junior High and High School ministry teams serve the middle and high school students of LightHouse. From taking part in crazy games and videos to eating with youth and just talking about life, they are impacting the lives of students in a radical way. Our men's and women's ministries have a variety of ways to serve directly through activities and support groups.

PARKING TEAM
This ministry is our "front line greeters" that welcome our church family and guests before they ever get out of their vehicle. They guide vehicles to appropriate parking and assist with traffic flow between and at the end of each service. In addition, provide general security during each service by patroling the parking lot, and will cheerfully assist you with any vehicle problems (flat tire, dead battery, etc.).
GREETERS This ministry is energetic, talkative, and friendly as they welcome every person entering our buildings. They are the “welcome mats in the house of God” as they actively demonstrate God's love with every smile and hello they give. Greeters also assist first time attendees with any questions and provide guidance to various class rooms and resources.
Bookstore The Firm Foundation Bookstore provides valuable training and teaching resources such as CD teaching series, recorded messages, Bibles and inspirational reading books. This team is also responsible for CD duplication of each service and has them readily available after service.
HOSPITALITY TEAM This ministry is responsible for the organization and distribution of the hospitality bag that is given to each first time attendee after our Sunday morning services.
LIGHTHOUSE LATTE (COFFEE BAR) The Lighthouse Latte Ministry Team provides fresh brewed coffee, pastries, juices and bottled water before and after each service. This ministry is also responsible for keeping the kitchen stocked with supplies needed for other ministry needs.
CONNECTION CENTRAL (Information Booth) This team is known for their well organized, outgoing, and quick-thinking personalities. They are responsible for providing accurate details about LightHouse to the church body and guests. From overseeing signups to answering questions about "where to go," the team can be found in the Connection Central Booth and is a multi-faceted ministry. If you want to get plugged in to the body this is a great "connecting" point!
DOORKEEPERS This group of men and women exists to make sure that everyone experiences a distraction-free service. In additiona to seating everyone in a quick and orderly manner, they help maintain an open atmosphere of worship by keeping the service flow in order. The team also collects the tithes and offerings, and assures the sanctuary is in back in order prior to and after each service.
HEALTHCARE MINISTRIES The HCM Team provides monthly blood pressure checks and quarterly blood drive on our campus. The HCM is also mission minded with a "hands on" ministery to Sonoyta, Mexico, where they provide physical and eye examinations, fitting individuals with glasses, assisting with medications and providing haircuts. This ministry is also the "first responder" evaluation of any medical needs that may arise during services and provides care baskets to those anyone who is admitted for hospital care.
ARMOR BEARER/ESCORT This team assists special guests by parking their vehicles, assisting them to their seats and serving them while attending our service.
MEDIA TEAM This group is made up of "techy" enthusiasts who want to participate in LightHouse's media needs. Members will learn how to operate a variety of equipment for sanctuary events and other ministries. Some of the many responsibilities of these teams include running computers, cameras, sound equipment, recording the service, and occasional light effects.
